Biography
Sam & David Cutler-Kreutz are an Oscar Nominated directing duo.
Their filmmaking journey started at a young age, when they would roam the neighborhood with a camera, turning their childhood adventures into movies. They’ve since gone on to write and direct five short films together, winning awards at SXSW, Palm Springs, Berlin, and culminating in a nomination at the 97th Academy Awards. They are longlisted again for the 2026 Oscars for their latest short film, Trapped. In advertising their most recent work includes spots for Adidas, Supreme, and Burberry.
